As Back of House Manager, you will play an important part to the success of this established Restaurant in Stellenbosch. You are responsible for the daily running of all kitchen operations and will ensure high levels of quality standards are met. You will have to be excellent at multi-tasking and time management.
The following duties are imperative to your job description
•Stock control, portion control as well as manual costing of recipes

•Knowledge of suppliers and price change awareness

•Quality control and strong sense of Food Hygiene

•Dealing with staff queries and relations, awareness of code of conduct.

•Ordering of stock

•The ideal candidate will have a Chef's Diploma or F and B Management Diploma.

•Must have at least 3 years’ experience in a similar position.

•Live close to Stellenbosch and have own reliable transport.

•Must be able to handle high pressure situations in this challenging but rewarding environment.

•Willing to work shifts and weekend.

•Have a passion for the hospitality industry and see this as a career.
