As manager, you will be an important part of the success of this exciting established Restaurant in Stellenbosch. You will have to be confident and have the capability of managing waiter and bartending staff. As manager you are the face of the business and should have high levels of service standards, maintaining quality customer service. Therefore, you should have a strong personality capable of dealing comfortably with customer queries, customer relations and staff issues.
The following attributes will be an asset to your success as a candidate
· High sense of professionalism and presentable
· At least 3 years’ experience in a similar position or a Hospitality qualification from a reputable establishment.
· Must be able to manage more than 30 staff members per shift, function in and create a team environment
· Be familiar with both front of house and back of house procedures
· Must be strict and able to enforce and apply company rules and regulations
· Excellent customer relations, service oriented and interpersonal skills
· Must be highly trustworthy, loyal and have sober habits
· Have own reliable transport
· Knowledge of Health and safety a must
· Willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays
· Hard working and able to lead by example
· Knowledge of Pilot software would be advantageous
· Must have computer literacy and capable in Microsoft office
· Be Fluent in English and Afrikaans
We offer a market related salary package and will be negotiated on experience.
