RESTAURANT MANAGER – Stellenbosch Wine Estate
OVERVIEW
Our client a beautifully appointed restaurant is situated on one of South Africa’s oldest working wine farms. This modern South African Farm Kitchen serve a multi course menu which is seasonal and fresh. The restaurant serve lunches daily and dinners on Fridays and Saturdays.
Our client is seeking to employ a focused and operationally strong Restaurant Manager.
IDEAL CANDIDATE
We are looking for an energetic, self-motivated Restaurant Manager who is detailed orientated, calm and able to perform under pressure, with at least 3 year’s working experience in a high-end restaurant environment. Hospitality Management qualification will be advantageous. Excellent wine knowledge, previous experience in event management, with a strong business acumen and ability for staff development.
Own reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license is essential.
THE KEY ROLE
The Restaurant Manager will be overall responsible for the smooth running of the daily front of house operations, offer an exceptional food and wine experience, with a hands-on approach to service excellence, staff development, coaching and staff disciplining, inventory control, orders and POS management, cost control and daily administrative duties.
REMUNERATION: R18 000 pm (relating to experience)
Start Date: ASAP
